The Origin Story

Planet Happy isn’t about constant happiness or polished outcomes.

It’s about honesty in process, treating creation as a necessary act. Founded during periods fueled by chaos, struggle, and triumph. Planet Happy has emerged as a way to give form to experience. Making toys became a method of working through moments, allowing ideas, emotions, and characters to take shape physically.

We create one-of-one art toys called Buds. Each Bud is sculpted and painted by hand and without repetition. They are small characters designed to exist in everyday spaces, sitting somewhere between art object and quiet presence and this world continues to grow one toy at a time.
