The origin story
Planet Happy was never about being happy all the time. It’s about taking whatever life throws at you and making something from it.
We’re siblings 26 Sabu and 44 Ghxst, and toys have always been part of our world. We grew up playing with them, then collecting them, and eventually started making our own.
What began at home as a way to turn ideas, experiences and feelings into something physical slowly became Planet Happy.
At the centre of it all are Buds, our one-of-one art toys. Sabu sculpts each Bud by hand, Ghxst paints them, and no two are ever the same. Every character comes from a different moment and ends up with a personality of its own.
Some are strange. Some are funny. Some might feel weirdly familiar. You don’t need to know about art, collect toys, or understand the story behind one to connect with it. If you see something in a Bud, it’s for you.
That’s what Planet Happy is about. Creativity without rules, good vibes without pretending everything is perfect, and championing artists who make things their own way.

Planet Happy is brought to life by sibling duo 26 Sabu and 44 Ghxst.
A Planet With Purpose!
We want Planet Happy to grow into more than a place that makes toys. The bigger idea is to build a community-led toy factory, somewhere creativity can become a genuine path for people who might not always find their place in traditional education or employment.
That is personal to us. As two people who struggled in the academic world, we know that talent does not always show up on paper, and that people learn, think and create in very different ways.
We already run workshops, give back through our work, and offer work experience opportunities for students with special educational needs (SEN). We want to keep building on that, creating more opportunities to learn practical creative skills, gain experience, collaborate with artists and, eventually, find meaningful paid work.
As Planet Happy grows, we want the people around it to grow with it.
The dream is a toy factory built around people, art and community, where different minds and different ways of working are valued, artists are championed, and making toys can open doors that might otherwise stay closed.
