GHXST - 1st Edition

GHXST is more than a toy to me. It’s a quiet reflection of my journey as a hooman ghost. ☺️

I’ve always felt things deeply, or sometimes not at all. Most of the time, though, I move through the world looking like a happy little ghost. :)

The thing is, what’s happening inside doesn’t always match what you see on my face.

Sometimes I look sad or distant when I’m actually okay. Sometimes I look happy and full of energy when I’m really not. Living in that space between how I feel and how I appear can get pretty exhausting, and for a long time I didn’t really know how to explain it.

So I would just disappear.

Haha. Literally, poof. Float away into my own little world, bury myself in my work and... GHOST. 👻

That feeling became GHXST.

Happy Ghost and Sad Ghost are two sides of the same character, because what you see on the outside is never necessarily the full story.

GHXST is my little reminder that you don’t always have to explain what’s happening inside. You don’t have to perform how you feel for it to be real.

And showing up, even quietly, still counts. :)
